SolidWorks 2007-2009 Experience:
I am always prepared to take on a new modeling challenge. While I have experience with many computer aided design (CAD) packages, the majority of my academic and employed experience has been with SolidWorks. I have generated and manipulated complex assemblies, and have performed design evaluations for manufacture and assembly optimization.
The bulk of my work has been with SolidWorks 2008 in a collaborative revision-based design environment. I have recently made the upgrade to 2009 and I am able to use any version of SolidWorks available. I have had much experience with SolidWorks Toolbox, PDM Works, CAMWorks (automated/CNC machining programming), and I can use these tools to output high quality renderings in PhotoWorks.
Because of my extensive time working with this software package, I have become proficient with many of the add-in analysis packages. I have conducted static, fatigue and thermal analysis with the COSMOSWorks package on many of the parts that I have designed. These studies included generation of accurate meshing, force and restraint modeling and outputting presentation-quality graphics. Additionally, I have experience with COSMOSFloWorks in conducting computational flow dynamic simulations. Also, I have analyzed parts in the COSMOSXpress wizard integrated in to SolidWorks.
